Circulation analysis

This analysis is about the circulation system in this building. The model is hollowed out the circulation elements, the ramp and stairs, by layers representing the movement of people. The private area is represented by the black box, and the public area is in void volume. The change from private to public is clearly shown in this model, and it shown that the stairs leads to the private area directly, while the ramp leads to both area.

Detail and the whole

This analysis is about the detail and the whole. As shown in the model, there are two different view box, one opens at the top indicates that the people is more likely sitting in that area, which is the private space in this building, and have more picture of the sky, feeling isolated from the ground, by contrast, another view box opens at the bottom indicating that people is standing in the public area, and have a full view of the surrounding environment.

Physiological analysis

This analysis is about how physiological indicate the human movement. As shown in model, it indicate the linear movement and enclosed movement, and the columns right at the symmetry center of the building. The rhythm of column indicate the path of visiting the building.
